Pinpoint Laser Systems is looking for an energetic Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician with strong assembly skills and a background with growing companies. The ideal candidate would be familiar with mechanical, electronic and optical components and assembly. Responsibilities to include:
- Assembly of mechanical devices that make up Pinpoint’s standard and custom line of products.
- Board level soldering, connecting & wiring electronic components.
- Checking optical components, alignment, & testing.
- Assisting Engineering with product testing & development.
- Inspection of incoming mechanical components.
- Ability to update and follow product build documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
- Understanding of manufacturing documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, firmware/software programs.
- IPC soldering certificate or equivalent preferred but not necessary.
- Comfortable with measuring tools, oscilloscopes, precision alignment.
- Familiarity with wiring and cable assembly.
- Familiarity with CAD-CNC machining a plus
