Your Microgage receivers do not have to be absolutely square to the incoming laser beam to work correctly. In fact, the receiver can be tilted or twisted up several degrees, left and right or up and down, and will still provide an accurate measurement for you.
Users often ask us about the signal strength indicator on their Laser Microgage products. If you are using a Laser Microgage system, the signal strength indicator is a convenience that tells you that the laser beam is still being recorded by the receiver.
Have you worked with measuring systems before where the numbers seem to change too fast and you can’t write them down? Or maybe, those measurement readings change quickly and you’re trying to average the values in your head and guess at the correct value.
