Manufacturing Manager

Job Overview
Pinpoint Laser Systems is searching for an energetic Manufacturing Manager with strong engineering and electro-mechanical skills as well as a technically oriented background.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen sense of urgency, solid managerial experience and good people skills. You will be working with engineering, purchasing, sales and upper management from component procurement thru final assembly and logistics with your focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing the assembly, engineering and logistics of precision laser alignment products
- Managing in a custom production environment
- Production scheduling and build management
- Interfacing with the procurement, expediting and logistics teams
- A solid understanding of documentation and mechanical drawings
- Participating in new product development
- Building and evaluating prototype products, sub-assemblies and full systems
- Employee training
- Maintaining product and manufacturing documentation
- Coordinating product calibration and repair services
- Reviewing inventory activity, maintaining inventory records, performing audits and monitoring efficient inventory procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not necessary
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in manufacturing and/or project management
- Proficient in manufacturing documentation
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- Working knowledge in electro-mechanical assembly
- Working knowledge with accounting software
- Working knowledge in design programs (Solidworks) preferred but not necessary
- Working knowledge in procurement and expediting preferred but not necessary
- Basic machine shop skills with lathes and milling machines desirable
