About the Microgage Transceiver
The Microgage Transceiver combines a laser transmitter with a dual axis digital receiver for precision angle measurements. This transceiver is ideally suited for making precise measurements of surface flatness, small slope changes, and precise angular control. The laser transmitter produces a precise laser beam that forms a straight reference line that can be used from a few inches up to 180 feet away. The laser reference beam, when combined with the standard Microgage receiver, provides accurate readings as small as 0.0001 inch (2.5 micron). The Microgage transceiver contains a built-in dual axis digital receiver that measures the precise position of a laser reference beam that is reflected back into the laser. If the mirror, or the reflective face of a standard Microgage receiver, changes in angle, the reflected beam coming back to the laser will be displaced. The internal receiver measures this displacement and provides a precise X/Y reading on the Microgage PRO Smart Display.
The Microgage transceiver has a built-in machinist level and can also be mounted on a variety of mounts and fixtures for precise measuring and control.
