The International Manufacturing Technology Show is one of the largest industrial trade shows in the world, with more than 1,500 exhibitors and 82,000 visitors from the United States and 115 other countries! This event is held every two years in September at McCormick Place in Chicago and fills up over 1.2 million square feet of space. This year, the show runs from September 10TH through the 15TH and the exhibits are organized in Pavilions that are geared toward specific industries, technologies and solutions. It’s like nine shows within the show.
There are fewer opportunities these days to see, explore, and experience first-hand a wide variety of manufacturing products and solutions. The IMTS show is a great opportunity to find manufacturing solutions and talk with industry experts about your needs. Walking the floors of this show allows you to touch and learn about some of the most advanced manufacturing equipment and technologies available in the world today. Ideas, questions, discussions, problem solving and new solutions spring forth from this show and it is a valuable experience for those attending.
